Re: Samsung Galaxy S Email set up

Its a Galaxy S, so setting up a Gmail account on it is as easy as accessing the Gmail Icon in your main menu and entering your Gmail Address and Password.

8. Under IMAP server enter imap.gmail.com

....

14. Under SMTP server enter smtp.vodamail.co.za

Any particular reason why you use these different providers for the email? I suppose smtp.gmail.com should work on the Galaxy (at least it works on my Nokia)

Re: Samsung Galaxy S Email set up

Dont forget to enable pop and imap. Do this by logging into your gmail account, go to setting and pop/imap settings. Once that is done then follow the steps given above and all should be ok.
